Burial Allotment

A county burial allotment is payable for the death of an eligible war-time Veteran and his/her spouse.  To be eligible for this the estate must be valued under $40,000 not including the primary residence.

Military Burial Flag Case

Effective January 1, 2017 a burial flag case will be provided to the next of kin or significant other (when deemed appropriate) for a deceased Sanilac County Veteran who meets eligibility.
